What is Quartz?
Quartz surfacing is composed of mainly natural material but has been engineered to be a non-porous surface. It contains 7% epoxy resin and color pigment materials and 93% quartz and granite aggrigates. Through engineering, a manufacturing process was developed utilizing heat and pressure to increase color consistancy, stain resistance, and strength of the natural stone. Not only is it non-porous and doesn't need any sealants, it withstands typical wear and tear beautifully. Quartz is professionally designed and computer-calibrated to maintain this consistancy of color and pattern which allows customers and designers to make the perfect selection with the assurance that the delivered slab will look like the sample.
